One of the greatest joys of Bridge Ministries is seeing God use ordinary believers to accomplish extraordinary things for His kingdom. While we may not always be the ones standing on the front lines of evangelism, it is a tremendous privilege to equip and support the grassroots efforts of faithful Christians throughout our community.
Recently, we were able to provide Spanish Bibles, New Testaments, and children's Bibles to a group of believers who organized a simple outreach they called "Spaghetti and Prayer." Their desire was to serve a warm meal, pray with those who came, and place God's Word into eager hands.
After the event, they shared this encouraging testimony: "The New Testaments, the Spanish Bibles you donated, and the kids' Bibles were a big hit. People's eyes would go wide when they received them, especially the children. Thank you so much for making that possible. We served 130 plates of spaghetti, and many people were prayed for."
What a beautiful picture of the gospel at work—believers serving with humble hearts, neighbors receiving kindness and prayer, and families leaving with the living Word of God. We are grateful that, through your prayers and generous support, Bridge Ministries can help place Bibles into the hands of those who are faithfully sharing Christ in our city.
The Lord promises, "So shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it" (Isaiah 55:11). Please join us in praying that every Bible distributed will bear lasting fruit as God draws many to faith in Christ and builds His church.

Below is a picture of the APEX mission team from Hingham Free Church in Wisconsin. They were one of several mission teams this summer that came to Laredo to serve the community through VBS, making beds for those in need and evangelism.
Prayer Requests:
- Please pray for long-lasting fruit from both the men's and women's studies, that they would result in a new generation of men and women who will raise children in the discipline and instruction of the Lord (Eph. 6:4).
- Please also pray for all the people who are getting their first Bible and reading it, that their study of God's Word would bear fruit: thirty, sixty or a hundredfold (Matt. 13:23).
- Please prayerfully consider supporting us financially; your monthly support of even $20 or $30 has a huge impact.

Support a Mexican pastor--provide Bible commentaries and theology books for a pastor from Mexico who would not otherwise have access to or be able to afford these resources.
Discipleship Circle--provide an ESV Concise Study Bible for a local TAMIU or high school student.
Bridge Builders--help us provide paperback Spanish & English Bibles for communities on both sides of the border.
