Description: The Concise Study Bible (Crossway Publishers) Discipleship Program is a Scripture-centered program designed to help believers grow in their understanding of God’s Word and then share their faith with someone else. Built around the Concise Study Bible (CSB), the program highlights key doctrines and helps people read carefully, think biblically, and apply God’s Word to everyday life. This program is especially aimed at students and young adults although anyone can participate.

Strategy: This will be accomplished by identifying Christian mentors who are willing to share the gospel and disciple someone else using the ESV CSB. Each mentor will then be required to attend our approximately 2-hour “discipleship training,” after which Bridge Ministries of Laredo will provide two CSBs to each mentor—one for him/herself and one more for the person being discipled. Each mentor will also receive a copy of the booklet How Do I Disciple Others? (Crossway Publishers). Our goal is to have at least 100 people per year participate in our discipleship program.

Description: The purpose of this initiative is to equip pastors and lay leaders in Mexico who may not have access to theological resources. Through carefully curated “sets” containing Bibles, commentaries, and other essential books, we provide these resources to leaders who will faithfully use them for personal study, evangelism and group study. Our objective is to assemble a consistent, thoughtfully selected set of materials that will truly support and strengthen the leaders we identify as most in need.

Strategy: This will be accomplished by working closely with established pastors and missionaries we know in Mexico who identify pastors, church leaders and evangelists that don’t already have access to these academic biblical materials. They are then given one of the “sets” of books. Our goal is to provide 50 sets of books to Mexican pastors annually completely free of charge.

Description: The objective of this initiative is simply to provide free copies of paperback Bibles in English or Spanish for evangelism to individuals and other ministries who will use them for evangelism.

Strategy: We will either hand out the Bibles directly ourselves to people who don’t already have a Bible or give them to other organizations we know who will use them for evangelism. Our goal is to give away at least 1000 Bibles annually.
